Gobernador
propone municipalizar Instituciones descentralizadas del Valle del
Cauca
Con el
propósito de captar recursos del municipio de Santiago de Cali, la Gobernación
del Valle del Cauca propondrá al Alcalde Rodrigo Guerrero la municipalización de
tres entes descentralizados que brindan educación, capacitación y cultura, en un
alto porcentaje a los habitantes de la capital
vallecaucana.
El
Gobernador Ubeimar Delgado afirmó, que esta es una iniciativa que ya se presentó
al alcalde Rodrigo Guerrero y que se constituye en una opción válida
financieramente para estas entidades, en procura de un equilibrio que les
permita seguir cumpliendo su misión, especialmente a miles de ciudadanos de
Santiago de Cali.
“La
propuesta es que la Alcaldía de Santiago de Cali, que cuenta con más recursos
que la Gobernación, nos ayude a sostener Incolballet, Bellas Artes y la
Biblioteca Departamental”, enfatizó Ubeimar Delgado.
Delgado
agregó que “le estamos prestando un muy buen servicio a las caleñas y a los
caleños, pero nos hemos visto alcanzados en los recursos financieros, toda vez
que nos encontramos en ley 550 o Ley de Quiebras. Por ello abogamos, con la
esperanza de no equivocarnos, que el alcalde Rodrigo Guerrero entienda que ellos
que tienen más recursos financieros para sacar adelante Bellas Artes,
Incolballet y la Biblioteca Departamental”, precisó el mandatario regional.
La
Bilbioteca Departamental presta servicios de salas de lecturas, programas
especiales, cinemateca, Bibliobus, Observatorio Astronómico, entre
otros.
Entre
tanto Bellas Artes ofrece programas de pregrado y postgrado, educación continua
y formación artística básica y media. Y el Instituto Incolballet ofrece
educación en ballet clásico, para niños y
niñas.
De
darse la municipalización, tanto el Instituto Colombiano de Ballet, Incolballet,
la Biblioteca Departamental Jorge Garcés Borrero, como Bellas Artes, Entidad de
Educación Superior, tendrían nuevos recursos que garantizarían la óptima
prestación de sus servicios a la región, pero principalmente a los
caleños.
Pacto vallecaucano compromiso de todos
El Pacto Vallecaucano es
un acuerdo de voluntades y compromisos, liderado por la Gobernación del Valle
del Cauca.
Fabiola Perdomo Estrada,
Secretaria de Cultura del Departamento aseguró que “esta iniciativa nace para
recuperar el sentido de pertenencia, los valores, el respeto por lo público, la
vida, la tolerancia, el liderazgo. Y Para mejorar la percepción y la imagen del
Valle, con el propósito de generar credibilidad y confianza para
todos”.
De igual forma, recoge el
sentir de todos los habitantes de la región frente a objetivos comunes, ya que
el desarrollo del departamento no depende exclusivamente del gobierno, sino de
todos quienes forman parte del Valle del Cauca.
“Debemos construir el
futuro entre todos y el futuro del Valle es hoy, por eso invitamos a todos los
vallecaucanos a que se sumen y nos comprometamos con nuestro departamento”
agregó la titular de la Cultura en el Valle del Cauca.
Este viernes 23 de
noviembre, a las 10:00 a.m en la Plazoleta de San Francisco se realizará el
concierto denominado “El Futuro es Hoy” donde Julio Nava, Jimmy Saa, Junior Jein
y Herencia de Timbiquí, ofrecerán lo mejor de su repertorio musical. En este
mismo escenario se realizará un acto simbólico, en el que distintos sectores de
la sociedad unirán la bandera del Valle, como sinónimo de unión, perdón y
reconciliación.
